Plasma, an electrically conducting medium produced when the atoms in a gas become ionized. It is sometimes referred to as the fourth state of matter, along with the solid, liquid, and gaseous states.

99% of all matter in the universe consists of plasma, the sun and stars are made of plasma and it is used in television, neon signsfluorescent lightslightning, the Aurora, and some flames consist of plasma.

The applied physical principle of the silent electric discharge was developed by Werner von Siemens in 1857 with the aim of producing ozone.

The use of “plasma pen” technology was introduced into surgery in the 1960’s to cauterise.

The A|C|C|O|R Cosmetic corrector has been used by practitioners to treat multiple skin indications since 2013.

The A|C|C|O|R Cosmetic Corrector “pen” is held just above the skin and creates a minuscule electrical arc from its tip. This arc is similar to a lightning bolt and is called the plasma-arc.

When the plasma-arc “jumps” from the tip and onto the skin, similar to lightning, the skin (solid) vaporises into a gas creating a micromillimeter-sized imprint on the skin’s epidermal surface. This is called non ablative sublimation.

The skin starts to heal and close up over the imprint, tightening the skin in the surrounding vicinity. A series of non-invasive imprints are made in the form of a “reduction grid”. Through the application of grids in particular patterns, excess skin can be tightened and lifted considerably.

The treated area is lifted & tightened considerably.

Plasma creates several biological effects on the skin:

  • Sublimation – To lift and tighten skin
  • Migration and Mitosis- Healing and repair of fibroblasts
  • Rejuvenation- Stimulates ATP of collagen cells.
  • Electroporation – Increased penetration of topical products into the skin
  • Disinfection – Kills virus, bacteria and pathogens.

The ACCOR provides today’s aesthetic professional the ability to create permanent results for over 20 indications:

  • Soft blepharoplasty (upper and lower eyelids)
  • Rhytids and wrinkles – crow’s feet, forehead glabella
  • Epidermal creases, nasal labial, marionets, smokers’ lines,
  • Face, jaw and neck lift
  • Loose skin body, arms & hands
  • Pigmentation, age spots
  • Skin tags and benign lesions
  • Soft face lift, plasma shower
  • Acne, acne scarring, stretch marks.

The unique Low Frequency “LF” technology, exclusive to A|C|C|O|R devices deliver a stable and consistent Plasma Arc. Whilst at the optimum power for successful sublimation of the skin the LF technology delivers a shallower and wider imprint than standard plasma pens.

This gentle and safer delivery creates a better tightening effect due to the wider imprint and quicker epidermal healing from the shallow epidermal wound.

The A|C|C|O|R global education program is a comprehensive multi-level program since 2013, providing the techniques, skills and confidence required for students to deliver excellence in treatment results and client care.

Training is delivered by independent A|C|C|O|R practitioners, who’s body of work has been recognised as world elite level and attained trainer status.

Training is delivered at regional in-clinic locations, encompassing theory and practical applications on a 1 trainer to 2 student level, thus ensuring the high practitioner competence levels that are recognised around the world.

An A|C|C|O|R plasma treatment does not require clinical downtime but can leave multiple micro-millimetre sized epidermal “crusts”. These are treated daily with an after-care cream and heal and flake off over 4-7 days.

Mineral based foundation or concealer can be applied to cover the treated area during the healing process.

Yes, the unique LF technology ensures a non-invasive procedure, with no basal layer damage, blood or scaring.

A full consultation and test patch are carried out 7 days before treatment.

A|C|C|O|R Cosmetic Corrector treatments are safe and gentle.

A|C|C|OR Cosmetic Corrector is for Beauty, Aesthetic and medical practitioners and has 3 options.

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, (SMPU) and experience are basic entry level requirements.
